'Munna Bhai' back behind bars

Mumbai, Sep 27: Actor Sanjay Dutt, whose 30 day parole came to an end, is back in Yerawada jail, after giving his wife Maanyata and twin children Shahraan and Iqra a goodbye hug at the entrance of their home. Advocate Subhash Yadhav accompanied the star to the prison this afternoon.

Serving his five year jail term for his involvement in the 1993 Mumbai blasts, the 56yr old actor, was out to be with his daughter who is said to have been undergoing a nose surgery. The actor has been lashed out at the media for being granted leave for various familial reasons. Last time he was out with regards to his wife's health, who was photographed leaving a party the next day and the jail authorities got a lot of bad press for allowing the actor to be out on leave when serving a jail term.

Many have termed this a VIP treatment just because he is from the movie industry. Specualtions had also been doing the rounds that the actor had sought pardon from the Maharashtra government that the court had found him guilty of. However the pardon was supposedly was declined. His legal team have denied that the actor asked the government for a pardon.
