Kasargod, Sep 29: ICYM Kasargod zone and ICYM Kollangana church unit held Kasargod zonal youth conference 2015 at Kollangana church auditorium recently.
Bela Mother of Sorrows Church parish priest and Kasargod zonal Vicarvar Fr Vincent D'Souza set free pigeons to set the conference in motion. Mangaluru diocese ICYM director Fr Ronald D'Souza, Kasargod zonal ICYM director Fr Victor D'Souza, Kollangana church parish priest Fr Daniel D'Souza, welfare committee vice president Fr Lawrence D'Souza, ICYM zonal president Nilton D'Souza, secretary Vandana, Sr Flavia, Vion D'Souza, Joel D'Souza and others were present.
Vinitha Maria D'Souza welcomed the gathering. Nishitha D'Souza, proposed the vote of thanks. Jeevan D'Souza compered the programme.
Vion D'Souza spoke about the ill effects of consuming liquor and drugs. Mangaluru college lecturer Vincent gave details about the increasing number of accidents and information on law.
Kollangana church parish priest Fr Dr Daniel D'Souza presided over the programme held in the evening. Sr Severine, director Fr Victor D'Souza and zonal representatives were present.
240 youth from Kasargod zone participated in the conference.
