New Delhi, Sep 30: Singh is Bliing actor Akshay Kumar met with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to discuss pressing concerns regarding the rapid rise of farmer suicides and their dire situations. The actor is reported to have spoken to the Chief Minister at length and has informed him of all the work that he himself has been doing to alleviate the distressing situation.

The CM is said to have shared his own growing concerns on the situation that is spreading nationwide like an epidemic disease. Kejriwal said, “We will do whatever we can. We must device a method to help. It’s very disheartening to see the situation. They are the ones who feed us; we must take care of them. We need to get to the root cause of the problem. They must get their due."

Akshay on the other hand said, “We must come forward to help them (farmers). People are not happy farming, we must go back to our roots, it is very important. We need to have a campaign for the cause.”

Busy with the promotions of his soon to release movie Singh is Bliing, Akshay is said to soon be on Remo D'souza's dancing show - Dance Plus with director Prabhudeva and leading lady Amy Jackson. They are expected to be part of the episode to be aired on Sunday the 4th of October. About the show, Prabhudeva said, "Remo has found such amazing dancing talent for this show that they will actually make the nation sit up and take notice of them. I can vouch for the fact that the show will give the industry their next Remos and Prabhudevas. I am looking forward to being a part of the show."
