Mumbai, Sep 30: Bheja Fry actor Ranvir Shorey who married Konkona Sen Sharma five years ago and have a son together, said that he blamed himself for the fact that his marriage did not work. The actor was in town meeting the press for the promotion of his soon to release movie Titli.

When questioned on the topic, the actor said, "This is about my recent announcement of separation. Yes, we have separated mutually. But I still believe in the institution of marriage. I understand because of my recent separation this question is coming up (of belief in marriage). But I don't think the institution of marriage has anything to do in that. I only blame myself for that."

After the subject was speculated upon and discussed rampantly in the media the couple announced their split on social media together. When his questioners zeroed upon his dialogue in the movie Titli, where the actor says, "Marriage is all about family plan", the actor replied,  "I don't believe in arrange marriage. My marriage was not arranged. But yes, I believe in family planning." 

Titli, is directed by Kanu Behl and co-produced by Dibakar Banerjee Productions Pvt. Ltd. and Yash Raj Films (YRF). Amit Sial, Shashank Arora, Lalit Behl and Shivani Raghuvanshi are all part of the ensemble cast. The movie is scheduled to hit theatres on October 16, 2015.
