Jennifer Lawrence calls Donald Trump 'politically incorrect'

Los Angeles, Oct 2 (IANS): Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence feels Republican candidate Donald Trump is “politically incorrect” and that it would be the "end of the world" if he wins the presidential election.

"If Donald Trump becomes president, that will be the end of the world,” the 25-year-old, who returns on the silver screen as Katniss Everdeen in the forthcoming film “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2”, told ew.com.

Her co-star Liam Hemsworth agreed and said: "I'll back you up on that."

Her other co-star Josh Hutcherson called it "a publicity stunt" and added: "It can't be real."

Lawrence went on criticising the real estate magnate-turned politician.

"I genuinely believe that reality television has reached the ultimate place where now even things like this might just be for entertainment. It's either that or it's Hillary's brilliant idea," she said.

“I was watching him on the campaign trail and one guy said, 'I love Donald Trump because he's saying everything I'm thinking and I just can't say it because of the PC factor.' And I'm thinking, 'You are absolutely right. That's who I want representing my country, somebody politically incorrect. That will just be perfect',” she added.
