Twiteratti upset over Jenner-Kardashian magazine cover

Los Angeles, Oct 6 (IANS): Twiteratti expressed anger and dismay at a magazine for labelling the women of the Jenner-Kardashian family as "America's First Family" on the cover of its November issue.

Many people took to Twitter to express their discontent over the label given to Kim Kardashian's family and asked the Cosmopolitan magazine to respect the "real" first family which is that of US President Barack Obama, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Twitter users mostly posted either Cosmopolitan's cover or the Obamas' photos along with their critiques to the magazine.

Grammy Award-winning singer Melanie Fiona called the magazine as she retweeted some images of the Obamas alongside the caption: "America's First Family. The Obamas."

Actor James Woods posted the magazine's cover and wrote: "God knows I have my political differences with President Obama, but his family are America's First Family, period."

Also posting the magazine's cover, award-winning humour blogger @Luvvie simply wrote, "America's First Family?"

Another user @herndon_a also posted an image of the Obamas and captioned it: "This Is America's First Family Not The Kardashians Get It Together."

User @michaelamcm tweeted: "Cosmopolitan calling the Kardashians America's first family is everything that is wrong with America."

Similarly, user @CarlaCapone2969 said of the Kardashians: "That was not only ridiculous, it was insulting! Sorry, but that's a trash family."
