Puttur: Unidentified men open fire at jewellery store

Puttur, Oct 6: Two unidentified persons who came on a bike opened fire at a jewellery store here late evening on Tuesday October 6.

The men shot at Rajdhani Jewellers, owned by Tanaaz and located in CPC Plaza here. The incident took place at around 7.15 pm.

It is said that the men opened one round of fire while passing the jewellery store on their bike. They then returned the same way and shot at the store again.

The bullets damaged the glass pane on the front side of the store. No injuries were reported.

Puttur town police arrived at the spot and registered a case. Further investigations are on.
