Bengaluru: Government to dissolve Cattle Conservation Commission?

Daijiworld Media Network-Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, Oct 7: As per sources, the state government is planning to dissolve Cattle Conservation Commission (Also called Goseva Ayoga) which was constituted in 2012 when the BJP was in power.

The 16-member commission was set up with an objective of ensuring the protection of cattle. It was also a first step in the direction of strict ban on cow slaughter which was promised in the BJP manifesto before the 2009 assembly elections. The commission has the mandate to ensure proper management of cattle at welfare centers, provide financial assistance to them and ensure timely implementation of state government programmes under cattle development schemes.

Out of the 16 members of the commission, nine are official members while the remaining seven are non-official members. When the Siddaramaiah led government came to power, the non-official members were removed. These non-official members went to High Court challenging the government decision and got a stay. But the stay was removed recently.

As per the laws of the commission, all the institutions and cow shelters (Goshalas) are required to register with the commission and could be inspected by the commission.

The government feels that as the Animal Welfare Board too has the task of protecting cattle, separate commission is not required which means duplication of work and a financial burden on the government. The state cabinet is most likely to take a decision on Tuesday October 7 on dissolving the commission and also on repealing the Karnataka Prevention of Cow Slaughter and Cattle Prevention (Constitution of Goseva Ayoga) rules, 2012.

Best suggestion, all unemployed goons can take care of cattle farming and can have decent living instead of going wild in the society.
Government should ensure that Beef is imported from outside and provided to beefeaters @ controlled price. No controversy and other religious sentiments.

Cattle is very revered animal from Veda time... We need to have a shed in front of every houses to do pooja. First shed should start at our country leaders house, then all other political leaders houses, then in all metro and semi metro houses. This will eradicate the cattle on the road and cause traffic problems.

That must be the proper order to be followed. The Indian President, PM, Cabinet Minsters and all the cow worshipping politicians must keep one cow as their own mother inside their homes clean them, feed them and then worship them like their own beloved mother. The PM has to open a new portfolio with a Cabinet Minister as "Cow Mother care Inspectors".

With the total ban on cattle slaughter, the scavenging animals/birds like, Hyenas, Vultures and
Wild dogs, Crocodiles may complete the jobs when dead cattle are found all over India one day.
And we would be short of Doctors and hospitals to treat the epidemic breakout.

    Dear Joseph,
In these modern scientific and technologically advanced times, some Indians are living in Cattle world. We cannot protest what Hindus worship and should not hurt their religious sentiments. Our government and some Bhakthas should be bold enough to decide and implement the ban if our constitution has such provision in our law.
In India some BJP ruled states act one way and non-BJP different way. This is our India. There is no unity only politics. Different political parties and different mentality.
Joseph, I believe that you and many others can afford to have Mutton or chicken (pork no limit) at least four times in a month.
It’s clear that government is lost in their capacity, how to address this beef issue but some sentimental people make big hue & cry and try to divide the community on this issue.
Care a hoot for beef. If you got money there are enough alternatives. Solving every ones problem is government’s responsibility.

All Indians irrespective of Religion or Beef consumers should protest throughout the Nation to stop slaughter of cows and also put total ban on export of Beef. This is the testing time. We can stop consuming beef but cannot take responsibility of saving the starving & dying Cattle.
To gain something we need to sacrifice something.
That's the only way to get away from this controversy.

Honorable Chief Minister Siddharamaiah of Karnataka is accomplishing good administration in Karnataka.

COWS DON’T NEED TOWELS. HUMAN NECESSITY IS A TOWEL AND IT IS A MUST TO HUMANS.

I kindly suggest and humbly request all these recently sprouted organizations to help open more cattle slaughter houses in every Taluks.

Presently we have only one cow slaughter house in Mangalore for the whole of South Kanara District.
    1) BELTHANGADY - NO COW SLAUGHTER HOUSE.
    2) SULLIA - NO COW SLAUGHTER HOUSE.
    3) BANTWAL - NO COW SLAUGHTER HOUSE.
    4) PUTTUR - NO COW SLAUGHTER HOUSE.

I AM NOT VERY SURE WHETHER CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE IS EXISTING IN UDUPI DISTRICT
    1) KARKALA – IF NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE SHOULD BE OPENED IMMEDIATELY.
    2) KUNDAPUR - IF NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE SHOULD BE OPENED IMMEDIATELY.
    3) BYNDOOR – NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE (PROPOSED TALUK)
    4) BRAHMAVARA – NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE (PROPOSED TALUK)

Due to only one Cow Slaughter House in Mangalore heavy to heavy burden on one and transportation of cows to-and-fro to all these Taluks increases the cost of meat.

Therefore, all meat consumers should have a meet to increase meat in the market there by allowing one each slaughter houses in each taluks/four taluks of the TWIN DISTRICTS.

THEN YOU WILL FIND THE MEAT PRICES WILL FALL DOWN IMMEDIATELY / INSTANTLY.

Wishing you all the best to meat eaters and non-meat eaters.
MAAS, MASLI NAAM THAR ROOS ASAAGI, CHAPPE NAYEM.
Maaso, meen idjjaanda aik onji ruchi unda maaraayere.
Beef, meengari illatthil o’rru rassam ille.
Maumsa, meenu llladhiddhare yeinoo ruchi illa.
Without Meat and Fish is there any taste?!
BOTH VEGETABLES AND MEAT ARE THE FULL NOURISHMENT TO HUMANS.
CATTLE ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF HUMANS.
IF OPENED MORE CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSES THEN THERE WILL BE NO ILLEGAL SLAUGHTER HOUSES BUT ALL LEGAL ONLY.

KINDLY OPEN MORE CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE SURELY THERE WILL BE NO THEFT CASES WHATSOEVER.

GOVERNMENTS SHOULD ENCOURAGE THE FARMERS TO PRODUCE MORE AND MORE CATTLE.

In the olden days cow farming/animal husbandry was not beneficial because of low prices for meat.

Presently animal husbandry is more beneficial to farmers or anybody willing to do it.
    1) Cow-Dung is having more demand in the twin districts.
    2) Fresh Milk is the necessity for the budding children.
    3) High meat prices are beneficial to anybody have cattle farm.

Piggery is also beneficial and has been increased now because of more demand on pork in the market due to non-availability of cattle meat in the twin districts.

    Slaughtering and eating is wrong.

It is also wrong that the people who shed crocodile tears saying cow is Maata and God and in the meantime, allowing it to roam the street, allowing it to eat plastic and rotten things from waste dumping grounds. Also allowing the sick cows unattended which later die a painful death on roads.
