Five killed in Mathura accident


Mathura, Oct 8 (IANS): Five passengers of a bus died on after the vehicle was hit by a brick-loaded tractor trolly close to the Yamuna Expressway in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura distict on Wednesday, police said.

Another two dozen passengers were injured, several of them seriously, and were taken to a Vrindavan hospital.

Local officials reached the spot to oversee rescue operations.

The dead were identified as Rewati Prasad, Ram Babu, Prem Pal, Lahuari and Mahendra.
