Khobar united cricket club to hold MRI tournament at SABSA

Saudi Arabia, Oct 11: Khobar united cricket club Saudi Arabia is all set to host its first MRI Ball cricket tournament at SABSA Ground Raka Dammam on October 23 and 30.

The tournament is being held on the occasion of its fifth anniversary.

 

In a glittering ceremony, participating teams captains met for the fixture and trophy launching ceremony at Gulf Durbar Restaurant Al Khobar on October 2.

The ceremony started with the Qirath from brother Shahab. Senior member and tournament chairman, Hammed welcomed all the captains, sponsors and members of difference association like DCA/JCA/SABSA/EPCA/AFCC for the event.

He also wished all the teams for the tournament and urged them to play with sportsmanship and discipline.

On the occasion, he also congratulated Team Alfalah Saudi Arabia for their recent victory at Hannan premier league at Qatar and said that their victory has made all of them proud. 

He also launched the new jersey of Khobar united team for the season 2015-2016. 

Mansoor anchored the event by briefing about the Khobar tournament features.

The winning team will get a trophy weighing approximately 20 kg and runner up trophy will weigh approximately 15 kg with height of 4.5 feet and 3.5 feet respectively. 

The first round knockout matches will be played on October 23 and the quarterfinal, semi final and final will be played on October 30.

All the participants and cricket lovers are invited for the tournaments with their friends family and kids. 

The programme concluded with dinner.
