Police arrest three suspected of stealing centring metal sheets

Bantwal, Oct 13: Bantwal rural station police arrested three men suspected of stealing centring metal sheets used in the construction of buildings.

The suspects are Kavalakatte residents Abdul Hazeez, Ismail, and Harischandra Nayak.

A complaint of 100 centring sheets having gone missing from Kavalakatte and Vagga areas was registered at Bantwal rural police station on Saturday October 10.

The value of the stolen sheets is said to be nearly Rs 1 lac. Police have said that the suspects will be produced in the court. Bantwal rural police station inspector Rakshit Gowda and staff Jagadish, Prashanth, Laxman, and Praveen participated in the arrest operation.
