Mumbai, Oct 15: Actor Fawad Khan who switched to Bollywood opposite Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat, is said to have been signed on by Karan Johar to be a part of his cast for the movie 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.'

The news was shared by Karan Johar himself on the micro blogging site. Karan announced, "Fawad Khan joins the cast of #AeDilHaiMushkil…an extremely “special” role in our film!! Amazing energy on set! pic.twitter.com/qtFXRpAz6r."

Playing the role of the stoic Vikram Singh Rathod who in the ends succumbs to the happy go lucky nature of Dr. Milli Chakravarty, will now be sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in ADHM.

While the role that he will be playing in the movie has not been revealed, the role has been reported to be a special one. The timeless romance is said to have another Pakistani actor as part of its cast - Imran Abbas Naqvi who is reported to be Anushka Sharma's love interest in the movie. Currently shooting Paris, the crew will soon shift to Vienna for another part of the shooting schedule.
