Mumbai, Oct 17 (IANS): Actors of Binod Pradhan's "Wedding Pullav" have dismissed any similarities with Yash Raj Films' "Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai".

"It's absolutely not similar. You should go and watch the film. I haven't broken anybody's marriage and neither have the heroes (in the film). We are all happily getting married," said lead actress Anushka Ranjan, who makes her debut with the film.

Popular television actor Karan V Grover, who plays an important role in the film, quipped: "Yes, we copied ita full, from first frame to last frame."

"Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai" was also a love triangle like "Wedding Pullav" which saw Uday Chopra planning to break the wedding of Tulip Joshi and Jimmy Shergill.

Anushka said she is "nervous", but hopes that people are going to like the movie.

"We are new artists and we've tried to do something new. So please come and support us - just like how you support bigger stars, support the new stars as well," said Anushka.

The film released on Friday.
