Mumbai, Oct 21: Members of Geleyara Balaga held a programme at Krishnarajapete on October 20 to felicitate MLA Narayana Gowda who was awarded honorary doctorate recently.

Mandya member of Lokasabha Puttaraju inaugurating the programme said that considering the selfless service by MLA Narayana Gowda during the last 30 years, the honour was not only for the MLA but all the
citizens of the taluk.

MLA Narayana Gowda presided over the programme. He said that he had come to Mumbai for a living and the citizens of the taluk have made him an MLA. The groups and associations should continue to support him.

Zilla panchayat education and health committee president V Manjegowda, taluk panchayat former president Kikkerisuresh, president of the town municipal council K Gouse Khan, former president K H Ramakrishna, members K S Santhosh, K R Hemanth Kumar, D Prem Kumar, Cheluvaraju, Koli Nagaraju and H R Lokesh participated as guests.
