Mumbai, Oct 21: Annual Sharannavarathri festival was celebrated in Uma Maheshwari temple, Jerimeri on Wednesday October 21. The celebrations included Punyaha, Navaka Prathiste, Panchamratha Navaka, Durga Homa, Bhajans and other religious rituals.
In the devotions held under the leadership of temple trustees B K Sheena and Lalitha Sheena Poojary couple, devotions were held for Mahaganapathi, Subrahmanya and Uma Maheshwari deities.
Saritha, Nisha and Nikhita B Sheena and family, BSKB Association Mumbai president Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel, Thonse Sanjeeva Poojary, Ravindra A Ameen, Ravi Mendon Kurkalu, Padmanabha Poojary Chembooru and hundreds of devotees present on the occasion prayed to Uma Maheshwari Devi.
