Kasargod, Oct 22: The local police, after protracted efforts, have succeeded in finding out the whereabouts of Bilal (15), son of Adam Kunhi from Lakshamveedu Colony, Madhur. The boy had gone missing about three months ago.
The police had visited a couple of places in an effort to trace the boy. After learning that a person had tactfully talked to the boy and succeeded in convinging him to work for a hotel, the policemen went to Ernakulam and brought the boy back.
Sajeevan from Keeyoor, who reportedly took the boy away, has been taken into custody by the police. The boy had suddenly gone missing after leaving home on July 9, a day before Ramzaan, for buying new clothes. The police, who received missing complaint, had visited Kozhikode after getting information that Bilal was sighted there, but their effort went in vain as the boy had been shifted from there.
