Mangalore Meri Jaan Children's Day contest on Nov 15 - Entries invited

Mangaluru, Oct 22: Mangaluru city is gearing up for the most awaited children's contest of the year 'Children's Day 2015' on November 15, organized by the prominent Facebook page Mangalore Meri Jaan (MMJ) in association with City Centre Mall and Summer Sand Beach resorts.

The categories for the contest are:

1) Cutest Kid 2015: 0-4 years
2) Little Prince and Princess: 4-8 years
3) Little Prince and Princess: 8-12 years

The first round of the competition will be an online round. The shortlisted contestants will be intimidated by the organizers.

Round two and the final round will be held at City Centre Mall on November 15.

Waseem Shaan, the CEO and founder of MMJ says it is fun to work along with the kids and to learn a thing or two from the young minds.

The title sponsor for this contest is Summer Sands Beach Resort,Ullal. Pantaloons is the fashion partner, Giving Tree Trust is the social partner while Daijiworld 24x7 is the channel partner and daijiworld.com the web partner.


Rules

Cutest Kid 2015 

- Age limit is 0- 4 years (as on October 30, 2015).
- Photos which get 150-plus likes will qualify to the next round. The photographs will be selected by a team of Judges.
- Five photographs will be given wild card entry to second round. 
- Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, and there will be two consolation prizes. The kids shortlisted for the final round will be given certificates.
- The organizers have all the rights to remove any photograph without prior notifice if it is found to be unethical/obscene.
- Using auto likes and illegal methods for gaining likes is strictly prohibited.
- Last date to gain likes is November 5.
- The organizers may request proof of date of birth at any time. 
- The organizers have the right to modify the terms and conditions if required in any situation.


Little Prince 2015 and Little Princess 2015

- Age limit is 4 – 8 yrs and 8 – 12 yrs (as on October 30, 2015)
- Photos should get minimum of 150 likes to qualify for the next round.
- The rules for the second round may vary depending on registrations received. The organizers will either select contestants directly for the finale or select contestants for the second round by judging the photographs.
- In case if the number of registrations is less, the organizers may select photographs even though if they have not gained 150 likes.
- The organizers have all the rights to remove any photograph without prior notifice if it is found to be unethical/obscene.
- Five photographs will be given wild card entry to the second round.
- Using auto likes and illegal methods for gaining likes is strictly prohibited.
- Last date to gain likes is November 5.
- The organizers may request proof of date of birth at any time. 
- The organizers have the right to modify the terms and conditions if required in any situation.
