Bhatkal, Oct 23: Bhatkal Anjuman Engineering College has come forward to join hands with Prime Minister Modi's Make in India vision. It has proposed to hold a workshop on Technological Industries with the cooperation of Indian Institute of Technology of Tamilnadu for the first time on November 7 and 8.

The workshop in which 60-70 students will get an opportunity to participate is aimed to stress on the need to implement modern technology preventing migration of talent. Leading technicians in the country will participate as resource persons. Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics subjects are given prominence. Online admission is provided.

Besides engineering students, diploma students also are allowed to participate. Students from Goa, Maharastra, Karnataka and Kerala are expected to arrive. College principal Dr Mushtak Ahmed Bavikatti has provided information to Karavali Munjavu newspaper in this respect. He said that the workshop is held expecting special contribution in the country towards modernizing industries.

“Besides 30 students from our college, more than 30 students from all over the country are likely to participate in the workshop. The college has successfully conducted Swatcha Bharath Abiyan recently. We have now put in motion 'Make in India' vision. Vision and Mission is the aim of the workshop”, he said.
