Tomlinson, Cowell 'trying to put a girl band together'

London, Oct 25 (IANS): As One Direction's hiatus is coming closer, singer Louis Tomlinson has revealed that he is working with music mogul Simon Cowell to "put a girl band together".

Tomlinson shared thoughts about the future project during an interview on the YouTube channel of "The X Factor", reports aceshowbiz.com.

"I've got a little label in print so I'm trying to work with that at the moment. I'm lucky enough to be working with Simon. We've got a few different projects going on at the moment one of which is we're trying to put a girl band together," Tomlison said.

"It's really exciting to be involved in the different side of it, the background," he added.

Tomlinson also opened up about making his return to "The X Factor", which jump-started his rise to fame, as a guest judge.

"It's such an honour to come back and obviously we started here so to be asked to come back is an incredible honour," he stated.

"I've always been such a massive 'X Factor' fan I've always watched it with the family for years, It'll be a proud moment for my mum."
