South African president calls on Sonia

New Delhi, Oct 29 (IANS): South African President Jacob G. Zuma called on Congress president Sonia Gandhi at her residence here on Thursday.

Former prime minister Manmohan Singh and Congress deputy leader in Rajya Sabha Anand Sharma were also present during the meeting, said a Congress release.

Zuma, who is here to attend the third India-Asia Africa Forum Summit (IAFS), was accompanied by his Foreign Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane during his meeting with Gandhi.
