Udupi, Oct 29: Hi Point 'Elite', Shankarpura's first state-of-the-art residential and commercial project, was launched on Thursday October 29.
Fr Leslie D'Souza, parish priest of St John Evangelist Church, Shankarpura, blessed the project, while Dr Devi Prasad Shetty unveiled the brochure.

Fr Leslie D'Souza in his message congratulated Yousuf Parvez on taking interest in the development of Shankarpura and wished him all success in the coming days.
"People are expecting a lot from 'Hi Point Elite', especially in terms of quality and standard of living.
It is not that builders should sell apartments at low prices, they can sell at standard rates and utilize the profits for the betterment of the society. We need to do business and get profit out of it, but at the same time, we need to take care of the needy people. We need to give back such service to society," Fr Leslie said.
Dr Devi Prasad Shetty in his address said that Shankarpura is known worldwide for its jasmine.
"Today Shankarpura is getting a world-class apartment. A house is a very important part of one's life. Earlier joint families used to live in houses but today there are only nuclear families.
"Success can be achieved when there is transparency, efficiency and sincerity," he added.
