Mangaluru, Oct 30: Two days national level management fest ‘Shriyans-2015’ was organized by MBA department of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil Mangaluru on October 28 and 29. 200 students from different MBA colleges participated in the fest.

The two day fest was inaugurated by Khadri Gundu Rao, regional manager, State Bank of India, Mangaluru. Felician Naveen Saldanha, assistant manager, Infosys Limited, Mangaluru, was the chief guest at the valedictory function. He distributed cash prize, trophies and certificates to the winners of various colleges.

The overall winner in the event was SDM PG centre, Mangaluru, overall runners up were AIMIT- Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology, Mangaluru. The best manager was won by student of AIMIT- Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Centre, Mangaluru. In the marketing event first position went to SDM PG centre, Mangaluru and second position was secured by Nitte College. In the finance event first position went to Sahyadri College, Mangaluru and second position was secured by SDM PG centre, Mangaluru. In the HR event first position went to Nitte College, Mangaluru and second position was secured by SDM PG centre, Mangaluru. In the entrepreneurial development event first position went to Mangalore university and second position was secured by MITE college, Moodabidre. In the paper presentation event the first position went to AIMIT- Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology, Mangaluru and second position was secured by MITE college, Moodabidre. The Ice breaking event was won by SDM PG centre, Mangaluru.

The inaugural and valedictory functions were presided over by Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college. Prof Hariprakash U P, HOD of MBA Department, Prof Veena S Rai, prof Praveena D staff coordinators, Anupama, student coordinator of the management fest were present on the occasion. Megha and Raksha were the masters of ceremony on the occasion.
