Mangaluru, Oct 31: Here's a golden opportunity for children to display their talent at role playing on stage, and what's more, appear on television too.

Daijiworld 24x7 TV channel in association with Forum Fiza Mall will hold 'Fancy Dress Dhamaka 2015', a fancy dress competition for kids on November 8 at 4 pm, as part of Children's Day celebrations.

The entire competition will be telecast in Daijiworld 24x7.

The competition is open for children between 6 to 12 years. There will only be solo category and boys and girls will be judged together. The competition gives a lot of scope for creativity and imagination, as the participating children can choose their own themes.

The duration of the performance is one minute for each participant. The parameters for choosing the winner are, costume, theme, confidence, performance and innocence of the participants.

Animals and fire, including lit earthen lamps (deepa), will not be allowed on stage. Parents will be required to remain seated at the designated places or at the backstage without providing any assistance to the participants during their performance.

The judges' decision will be final.

Every contestant will be given a participation certificate.

Applications are available at Forum Fiza Mall. The last date for the registration is November 6. The competition is restricted to limited entries, so hurry up and register now.
