Home Minister Dr G Parameshwar calls on Archbishop Moras

Bengaluru, Nov 2: The new Home Minister of Karnataka Dr G Parameshwara, who joined the Siddaramaiah cabinet on Saturday, called on the Archbishop of Bangalore Most Rev Dr Bernard Moras on Rajyothsava Day.


Dr Parameshwara, who is also serving as the KPCC President, replaced K J George as the State’s Home Minister, who is nowthe Bengaluru Development Minister.

While Dr Parameshwara greeted the Archbishop with a flower bouquet, the Archbishop offered his prayers and honoured the new Home Minister with a shawl, garland and a traditional Mysuru Peta.

Fr A S Anthony Swamy, the Chancellor and PRO of the Archdiocese, Fr Eugene Lobo, SJ and the newly appointed PRO of Karnataka Regional Catholic Bishops’ Conference, Fr Lourdusamy, Secretary Education Karnataka Regional Commission for Education, Fr Anthony Mahendran, Secretary to the Archbishop and LukoseVallathurai were present at the meeting.
