Mangalore, Aug 10: The elections for the office bearers of All College Students Union, for the year 2007-08 was held in the NGO hall here under the guidance of  advocate Dinakar Shetty. 

Dr Bharat Kumar Shetty, syndicate senate member of Rajiv Gandhi University and Namma TV director Dr Shivcharan Shetty were election officers. Students from 108 colleges under Mangalore university cast their votes.

Past president Nemiraj Shetty, Surakshith Suratkal, former president Anand Rai, Prasad Shetty, Kiran Kumar Pandeshwar and others were present.
 
Amithraj (University College, Mangalore) was elected as presidentent and Srijith (Sri Devi College Mangalore) elected as working president.  Shivaprasad Shetty (Narayana Guru College, Kudroli) was elected general secretary.

Deepak Kamath (Canara College, Mangalore) Yashwanth (Government First Grade College, Kavoor) Nitish (Kateel College, Kateel) Sandesh (First Grade College, Haleyangady), Sanjay (Narayan Guru College, Kudroli), Radhakrishna (SVS College, Bantwal and Rameez (Sri Devi College Mangalore, elected as vice presidents.
