Mangaluru: Young talents steal hearts at Daijiworld TV 'Fancy Dress Dhamaka'

Mangaluru, Nov 10: Young talents gathered in large numbers at Forum Fiza Mall here on Sunday November 8 and impressed one and all with their skills at role play in the 'Fancy Dress Dhamaka-2015' organized by Daijiworld 24x7 TV channel.

The competition was organized as part of the upcoming Children's Day celebrations. Around 60 children between the age group of 6 to 12 years took part in the competition.

As there was no set theme, the children came up with a variety of creative costumes and donned the roles of interesting characters, from mythology to Mother India to even a Dracula. Some of the participants used the opportunity to convey meaningful, socially-relevant messages.

The parents of the participants were equally enthusiastic, supporting and cheering on their children to give their best.

There were solo categories for boys and girls. The judges for the competition were Usha Prabha Nayak, director of Expert College and Ananth Prabhu of Vikas College.

The first prize was bagged by Naithik, the second place went to Ananya Nayak and the third prize was bagged by Grahith.

A huge crowd gathered at the venue and applauded each and every perfor
mance.

Director of Daijiworld Audio Visual Ltd Nelson Rodricks, Daijiworld Media director (operations) Melvyn Rodrigues, Managing director and editor of Daijiworld Publications Hemacharya, Daijiworld 24x7 director Oniel D'Souza, Daijiworld 24x7 production manager Mohammed Nissar and others were present.

Giving Tree Trust was the social media partner and Frame Production Home the event partner. The event was supported by Hisrar Events and Celebrations.
