Mangalore: Theft of Cellphones Worth Rs 7.5 Lac from Electronics Shop

Mangalore, Aug 11: A huge theft was reported from a prestigious electronics shop in K S Rao road, here on Saturday August 11.
The thieves are said to have decamped with 90 cellphones on the night of Friday August 10. Apparently no other goods have been reported missing. The handsets being small in size, it is believed that they have been targeted to get the maximum loot with minimum effort, time and inconvenience.
The value of these mobiles has been estimated at Rs 7.5 lac. The incident came into light on Saturday while opening the shop.
Bunder police have started investigating in this regard.
