Mangaluru, Nov 14: Mangalore Meri Jaan, a prominent Facebook page, has announced the winners of its Cutest Kid 2015.

The contest was held as part of Children's Day in association with City Centre Mall and Summer Sand Beach Resorts for three age group 0 to 4 years. Also, Little Prince and Princess contests were held for 4 to 8 years, and 8 to 12 years.

Elan Keith Pais has bagged the top prize in the Cutest Kid contest, while Vanishka Brijesh Shetty has won the first runner-up spot, and Sia Kiran the second runner-up prize.

Adhya P Rai has been adjudged the most Charming Kid, while Maanvi P Suvarna has bagged the Cute Smile award.

The judges for the contest were renowned poet Melvyn Rodrigues, daijiworld's ace photographer Dayanand Kukkaje and senior photographer Ravi Posavanike.

Prizes will be distributed to the winners on November 22.

Due to recent unstable situation prevailing in the city, the organizers have informed that the Cute Prince and Cute Princess events for 4 to 8 years and 8 to 12 years groups, which were proposed to be held on November 15, have been postponed to November 22. They have requested all the parents of the contents to understand the situation and cooperate with the organizers.

Parents of all the selected children would be informed over phone/email, they added.

Over 1,150 entries were received for the contests in all. As per rules, 264 children who got over 150 likes were chosen initially. Five photos were also selected as wild card entries. In spite of finding it very hard to choose the winners because every child happens to be cute and sweet, the organizers finally chose the winners.
