Bengaluru, Nov 14: Karnataka’s Small Scale Industries Minister Satish Jarakiholi and the State Government’s Special Representative in Delhi C S Appaji Nadagouda visited the State Government’s stall at the India International Trade Fair being held in Delhi on Saturday.

The India International Trade Fair is being held in Delhi from November 14 to 27.

The State Government’s stall at the Trade Fair reflect Karnataka’s initiatives in the “Make in India’’ concept in the productive sector.

The achievements, projects, development works, implementation and application of new technologies by the Siddaramaiah regime with a special focus on Karnataka’s art, culture and achievements are being displayed.

Khadi Village Industries as well as other products from more than 70 artisans from different parts of the State are part of the State’s stall in the Trade Fair.

In addition, the programmes of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, minorities and the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Crafts, cotton sarees, handloom silk sarees, embroidery, soap and detergent, artistic jewellery, Ayurveda and herbs, wood carvings, stone ornamented, honey and leather products, tribal jewellery, food processing and fruit-based products have also been displayed.

Visweswaraiah Business Promotion Center Managing Director M Prabhu and Karnataka Bhavan Resident Commissioner Srikantarao were present.

Special displayes pertaining to the State Government’s ambitious projects such as the Anna Bhagya, Ksheerabhagya, Manasvini and the progress achieved in various fields were also put on display.
