Bengaluru, Nov 14: The owner of the Pawan Security Agency, which provided the security guards to the Bengaluru Tennis Club in Cubbon Park, has been arrested by the Cubbon Park Police for failing to provide the necessary background verification documents of the two security guards allegedly involved in the gang rape of a woman in on Wednesday night.

The owner of the Pawan Security Agency, Keshavamurthy, was arrested by the Cubbon Park police on Satruday under Section 20 of the Private Security Agency Regulation Act.

Sandeep Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Division), said Section 20 of the Private Security Agency Regulation Act makes it mandatory on the part of the Security Agencies to compulsorily get background check done on the people who are employed as private security guards.

The mandatory security check is among the five rules which needs to be followed without fail.

Arrested security guards

The police had nabbed Raju Meti (28) and Bolinn Dass (38) from Assam, who were employed by the company and deputed at Cubbon Park for the Horticulture Department, on Thursday morning.

The two guards had taken the victim to an isolated place on Wednesday night on the pretext of arranging accommodation and raped her.

The victim, who is from Tumakuru, had gone to Cubbon Park to enquire about tennis coaching.

Soon after the arrest of the two security guards, the police asked the Security Agency whether they had got the background verification done for the accused before employing them, for which the company did not provide a positive reply.

Don't arrest and give any punishment to these two rogues.Firs cut their private parts and send them to their respective homes.Let them experience the pain of others. If you arrest and put them in jail, they know that, they will be released on bail soon. Now a days bail will cost more dangerous. They should be given stringent of stringent punishment.then only they can realize the pain of others.

    I quote -
"The two guards had taken the victim to an isolated place on Wednesday night on the pretext of arranging accommodation and raped her.

The victim, who is from Tumakuru, had gone to Cubbon Park to enquire about tennis coaching."

So, to those who held the government responsible for the gang-rape, here is the answer. The guards were not hired out by the government but Pawan Security.

Next time do check before shooting !
