Mangaluru: Murder of Madoor Isubu and Ganesh Shetty - four held

Mangaluru, Nov 16: Relating to the murder of under-trial prisoners, Madoor Isubu and Ganesh Shetty, on November 2 in the district prison here by fellow prisoners, the police arrested four persons on Saturday November 14 and produced them in the court.

The arrested accused are Mahesh Kavoor (35), Latish Akash Bhavana (23), Satish Benjanapadavu (40), and Kamalaksha Tenkabellur (37). They have been accused of supplying weapons used for the murders from outside the jail.

With this, the number of people arrested in the case has gone up to 11. It is said that these people are connected with both the gangs which committed the said murders inside the prison. Allegedly, they tossed knives and other arms into the old prison building from the direction of the District Institute of Education and Training located by the side of the prison.
