Bengaluru, Nov 17: It is not conclusively known whether it is intentional or not. But the home minister, who took charge recently, was seen sitting in the third row during the ongoing winter session of the legislative assembly on Monday, November 16.

Dr G Parameshwar who is also the Karnataka Pradesh Congress committee (KPCC) president did not show any emotions for getting the seat in the third row. As per the tradition, senior cabinet members are always allotted front seats.

Many members were surprised to see the deputy chief minister aspirant a few days back, now the home minister, in the third row. It obviously raised some eyebrows. They were seen discussing the issue among themselves. The issue was brought to the notices of speaker and chief minister later by some Congress members. It is said that speaker agreed to correct the ‘negligence by concerned officials’.

Some Congress members said that the home minister will be seen in the front row on Wednesday.
