Mumbai: Billava community holds youth festival

Mumbai, Nov 18: “The progress of the nation depends on the youth. When the society leads the way, the overall progress of the country will be possible. Therefore youth should take decisive role of leading the society”, said National Billavara Maha Mandala president and Bharath Bank Executive president Jaya C Suvarna.
































 

He was speaking after inaugurating “Billavara Yuvotsava” programme at Billavara Bhavan, Santacruz east held on Sunday morning, November 15.

In the inauguration programme presided by Billavara Association Mumbai president Nithyananda D Kotian, Bharath bank directors K N Suvarna, Bhaskar M Salian, Gangadhar J Poojary, Suryakanth J Suvarna and Association Vice presidents Raja V Salian, Bhaskar V Bangera, Shanker D Poojary and Dr U Dhananjay Kumar, honorary treasurer Mahesh Karkal and women’s wing executive president Shakuntala K Kotian were present on the dais.

Youth wing members Harish G Salian, Sadashiva A Karkera, Ravindra A Ameen, Nagesh M Kotian, Rajith L Suvarna, Deepak Suvarna, Lathesh M Poojary, Yashwanth Poojary Palimaru, Gopal K Salian, leaders of local committees and office bearers were present.

Youth wing executive president Nilesh Poojary Palimaru welcomed. Dhananjay S Kotian gave a key note address, led the prayer and compered the programme. Association office bearers presented flower bouquet to the guests and honoured them. Ravi A Sanil, Akshay Poojary, Anusha Mohan Poojary, Ashish Billava and others conducted competitions. Youth wing honorary secretary Umesh N Kotian proposed vote of thanks.
