Mangalore: Memorable V V Nite Enthralls Jam-packed Independence Day Audience

Mangalore, Aug 16: V V Nite–2007 was held at Don Bosco Hall, in the city here on Wednesday August 15.  This was VV's Eighth musical extravaganza and it was witnessed by a jam-packed Independence Day crowd.

The nite staged by SVP and St Antony's Legion Permai, for the benefit of providing houses for the needy families enthralled the audience to the full. 

Jude Noronha compered the programme.  Alwyn Danthi, Arun Danthi and others of Bindas Pernal entertained the audience by their pack of jokes.

Naach Sobhann  members was at their best with their well-choreographed dances while popular Konkani singers Rony Crasta, Zeena Pereira, Prakash Mahadevan,Amabel Moras, Joseph Pinto, Sapna Saldanha and Vijay Vas  along with V V Santos delighted the spectators with choicest and foot-tapping numbers.

Well-known musician Roshan D'Souza scored background music for the nite.
 
Fr Sylvester D'Costa, praish priest of St Antony's Church, Permai, vice-president Francis Cutinho, SVP president Herald Monteiro were also present on the occasion.
