Kasargod, Nov 23: In an accident which occurred on national highway 66 at Peruvad at Mogral near Manjeshwar in the district on Sunday November 22 evening, a young motor bike rider lost his life. The deceased has been identified as Manoj, son of Balan from Bambrana.
When Abbas from Mogral, who has some physical disability, was travelling in his scooter with his children, the motor bike driven by Manoj brushed against his vehicle. Manoj, who lost his balance as a result, fell on the road. Instantly, a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus, which was passing by the spot, crushed him to death.
Abbas and his children, who were injured in the accident, were admitted into a hospital in the town. A case has been registered in Manjeshwar police station.
