Abu Dhabi: KCO to host throwball tourney on Jan 29

Abu Dhabi, Nov 23: Konkani Cultural Organization (KCO), Abu Dhabi will be organizing 'KCO Throwball Tournament 2016' on January 29, 2016 (Friday) at Abu Dhabi Indian School ground.


The tournament will be conducted in the following categories:

a) Ladies' throwball tournament
b) Men's throwball tournament

KCO president Leo Rodrigues along with KCO members has extended a warm invitation to all the sports enthusiasts to participate or witness this event and support their favourite teams. It will be yet another opportunity for sports lovers to exhibit their talents.

The tournament will commence at 8 am and is open for teams/members residing in the UAE.
Teams will be segregated into groups and matches will be played on a league basis.

The pools will be drawn on the spot in the presence of the team captains. Rules of the tournament will be available on request and the players will also be briefed about the rules prior to the tournament.

Trophies will be awarded to the winners and runner up teams. Prizes will be awarded to best player and best smasher of the tournament in each category.

Free lunch will be served to all the participating teams.
