This is grave injustice to the DK region. Mr. Madwaraj should not have accepted this unconstitutional post of "Parliamentary secretary" or Assistant Minister. People of DK must deeply think, given the size of Dakshina Kannada what is the percentage of representation we have in parliament.

I do not think the correct title is "parliamentary" secretary. Karnataka does not have a parliament. It has a state legislative assembly (Vidhan Soudha). Parliamentary Secretaries are only at the Centre, where Parliament has its seat. Perhaps the 1963 Karnataka statute should be amended to reflect that.

    People,

This is a good decision by Siddu..at least he is not financially corrupt...

His father was MLA Udupi in 1962, Uncle in 1967, Mother Since 1972 onward...there are no corruption allegations against any of them...

Hope its effect will be seen at least in revenue offices of Udupi..
