Bengaluru: Heart attack claims life of BJP MLA from Hebbal

Bengaluru, Nov 24: In a sudden development, R Jagadish Kumar, BJP MLA representing Hebbal constituency here, died of heart attack on Monday November 23. He was 57.

Jagadish had taken part in the protest and mobbing of Vidhan Soudha organized by BJP on Monday. During the protest, he complained of chest pain. He was treated for the symptom, and he later took part in the assembly proceedings.

In the afternoon, he went to Vikram Hospital for advanced care. During this period, he was diagnosed with a hole in his heart. The doctors advised him to undergo immediate surgery on Tuesday.

The MLA came out of the hospital, and suddenly collapsed to the ground as he suffered heart attack. He had lost his life by the time medical assistance could be extended, and efforts made to revive him failed.
