TV actor Yash Pandit booked for raping actress, on the run

Nov 26 (HT): Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actor Yash Pandit has been booked for allegedly raping a TV actress on the false promise of marriage. According to the FIR, the actor raped the 28-year-old woman at his Juhu residence a number of times.

Pandit, a popular face on television who also appeared on Splitsvilla 8, met the woman on September 13 on the sets of a show. He invited her to his home twice, where they had sex.

However, after the second visit to his house, Yash started avoiding the woman. “He only had intentions of developing a physical relationship with me. He confessed to me that he had sexual relationships with other girls. They perhaps did not approach the cops, because they were scared of being defamed. But, I wanted to teach him a lesson to get his nefarious
intentions out in public view,” the victim told a Mumbai daily.

She then filed an FIR against the actor but he is yet to be apprehended. The woman told NDTV that leniency is being shown to Pandit because his family is influential. She also alleged that there were discrepancies in the FIR. “It seems as if the police are succumbing to certain pressures. Perhaps that is the reason they have not managed to trace him yet.”

This loophole has to be corrected . How is it a rape when they had sex with mutual consent . If she wanted to have sex with her going to be husband only then she should have waited for a while got married and then should have had sex . Looks like she seduced him and now forcing him to get married
