Mangaluru, Nov 26: City witnessed an attractive laser show which was held to inform citizens about the pro- people programmes implemented by the state government during the Rajyotsava celebrations.
The show was held at Mini Vidhana Saudha in front of Town Hall Wednesday, November 25 evening.
The colourful show was also held at Sullia, Puttur and Vittal in the district.
The laser show focussing on people like Kuvempu, Da Ra Bendre, Shivarama Karanth, Masti Venkatesh Ayyangar, V K Gokak, Girish Karnad, Anantamurthy, Kambara and Vishweshwarayya which was presented along with background song of 'Barisu Kannada Dindimava .. Oh Karnataka Hridaya Shiva' was breathtaking.
The unique show depicting governments' Ksheeradhare, Annabhaghya, Bhagyajyothi and other pro-people programmes, details of their progress, social message and Punyakoti subjects drew the crowd’s attention.
The programme was held by the department of information and public relations. District information officer Khader Shah was present.
