Bengaluru: Legislative Council election - JDS decides to go alone

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Nov 28: Party leaders have given clear indication that JDS will not have electoral understanding with any other party for the legislative council election to be held later this month. Speaking on Friday November 27 at Channarayapatna, party supremo, Deve Gowda, said that talk of electoral alliance with any other party is a closed chapter.

The party also issued a clear warning to its members against discussiing internal issues of the party in the open, saying that those violating party discipline will face stern action. Deve Gowda pointed out that both state JDS president, Kumaraswamy, and chief minister, Siddaramaiah, have already stated that there will not be any electoral understanding for the council election.

Deve Gowda said that the party decided not to go for alliance because of the fear of adverse affect it might have on the party's charisma, which might cast its shadow on its chances in the forthcoming taluk and panchayat elections. He added that the party would be fielding its candidates in all the 25 constituencies which will go to polls, and that the list of candidates would be announced in a couple of days after party's state president and other leaders sit together and finalize the list.

At the same time, H D Kumaraswamy, clarifying that the party will go it alone in the election indirectly sent warning signals to party legislator, Zameer Ahmed, by stating that those who create confusions would face consequences. Admitting that three to four party MLAs have shown interest towards strikingr electoral alliance, he said the party's interests cannot be sacrificed for the sake of a few. Speaking at Mysuru, Kumaraswamy asked party legislators to behave in a mature manner, as a decision about alliance is taken by state president of the party, not others.

IT IS COZ OF LOVE WITH BJP BY HDK. HDK IS A BJP SPONSORED POLITICIAN OF KARNATAKA. MAY BE HE PAID FOR THAT. IN HIS FAMILY LIFE ALSO HE HAS TWO WAYS. HE IS NOT A GOOD POLITICIAN BUT A GOOD ACTOR. MAIN REASON IS HE CAN NOT DIGEST SIDDU AS CM. SO HE JOIN HANDS WITH BJP TO MAKE SOME THING WHAT IS HIS MIND WHICH WILL EFFECT THE PEOPLE OF KARNATAKA. BUT DEVEGOWDA KNOW EACH AND EVERY THING OF POLITICS SO HE IS TAKING GOOD DECISIONS BUT HDK OPPOSES IT. IN FUTURE HE WILL PAY FOR HIS MISTAKES. AND AT MANGALORE WE HAVE MOHAMMAD KUNHI AS PRESIDENT WHO CAN NOT HAVE THE CAPACITY TO BRING A SINGLE VOTE TO THE PARTY. DEAR HDK THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING. THE PEOPLE OF KARNATAKA WATCHING YOUR DOSTHI WITH BJP AND THEY WILL TEACH A LESSON TO YOU SOON. YOUR CRYING DRAMA WILL NOT HELP YOU ...............!!!!

JDS is a party without any ethics. Some time they will go with Congress , sometimes with BJP. They will draw blank as voters are well aware of their tactics.
