Foundation stone laid for protective wall for drain at Jeppu Kudupadi

Bengaluru, Nov 28: Foundation stone was laid for the construction of protective wall to the huge drain located near Lord Vishnumurty temple at Jeppu Kudupadi here on Friday November 27.








Former convener of labour division of All India Congress Committee, J Umesh Chandra, laid the foundation for the wall measuring about 121 metres, which is being built at a cost of Rs 50 lac. The project was sanctioned by the state department of minor irrigation on the recommendation of local MLA, J R Lobo.

Corporator representing local constituency, Shylaja, temple management representatives, Bala Belchappadaand Damodar Gurikar, Congress leaders, T K Sudhir, Ashok Kudupadi, Mohan Mendon, Herbert D'Souza, Ramanand Poojary, Kritin Kumar, Nawaz Jeppu, Uday Bolar, Babu Suvarna, Raghuveer, Suresh Kuthar, and several others were present.
