Kasargod, Nov 29: Two children, who had gone missing from an orphanage at Padannakkad, were found dead inside an abandoned car late night on Saturday November 28. They had disappeared from the orphanage all of a sudden on Saturday evening.

The deceased children have been identified as Abhishek (7), son of Babu from Ravaneshwara Mukkod, and Jerin (5), son of Joshi from Cherupuzha Kannivyal.

The children had disappeared under mysterious circumstances from Snehalaya orphanage functioning near Good Shepherd prayer centre at Padannakad.

The car in question, which bears a Tamil Nadu registration number, had been found abandoned at a spot some distance away from the orphanage some days ago. The bodies of the children were found during search operations launched to find the missing children.

Police from Hosdurg station, who reached the spot after getting information, shifted the bodies to the district hospital at Kanhangad. Postmortem reports hopefully will throw light on the actual cause of their deaths. The present theory is that the children, who got into the car, failed to come out and perhaps suffocated to death.

Hosdurg police are investigating the case. More information is awaited.

Never ever boast that you would not do a mistake.
It was by oversight because I was deeply disturbed reading the article and overlooked rest of the facts.
Your time will come and I will follow closely.

Killing innocent children is a cowardice act. Culprits should be dealt with iron hand of law.
