Dubai: Mangalore Konkans' 'SingAlong 2015' on Dec 3 - Artistes arrive

Dubai, Dec 2: All the members of the world-renowned Sri Lankan live band "SIGN", with popular DJ AKI who are set to perform for Mangalore Konkans Dubai’s much awaited event "SingAlong 2015" were accorded a grand welcome on Wednesday December 2 by Mangalore Konkans Dubai president Alwyn Pinto, event coordinator Santosh Nazareth, former president James Mendonca and other organizing committee members at Dubai International Airport.

The eminent band which features Chef Don Sherman and female singing sensation Judy De Silva along with band leader Melantha and the team members Lelum, Dileep, Upali and DJ Aki were received at the airport with bouquets by the enthusiastic members of Mangalore Konkans. All the artistes form the part of the mega event, a musical extravaganza of dance and fun with galore of entertainment at Ice Rink of Al Nasr Leisureland, Dubai, scheduled to begin at 9 pm sharp on December 3. A crowd of more than 800 is expected to turn up for this mega event which would be one of its kind like many of Mangalore Konkans Dubai’s other events.

Melantha, leader of the band speaking to the media said he is happy to be back in Dubai for the event and said that band has done all the preparations to enthrall the participating crowd. Don Sherman, Who is also known as the ‘Singing Chef’ said, Mangalore Konkans Dubai is a known name for its uniqueness and perfection while hosting events. He added that he feels happy and excited to be back for this wonderful event "SingAlong 2015", and said that plenty of surprises are in store for the participating crowd.

Sensational Judy De Silva, lead female singer of the band also congratulated Mangalore Konkans Dubai for their massive preparations for the event and told the media that she looks forward to perform for the crowd with anticipation and much delight.

Mangalore Konkans Dubai president, Alwyn Pinto while addressing the media said that all the preparations are in place to entertain a huge crowd at the event. He also recounted the numerous benevolent programmes undertaken by Mangalore Konkans Dubai, saying that the proceeds of the event will go to number of charitable works which the organization is supporting. He also thanked the supporters and sponsors for their good will and encouragement. Santhosh Nazareth, the main coordinator of "SingAlong 2015" event expressed his confidence that the event will undoubtedly entertain all the participants with an experience of a life time.

Ice Rink of Al Nasr Leisureland, Dubai is expected to soak in the mood of entertainment as a massive crowd will come together for the biggest event of the year by Mangalore Konkans Dubai on December 3.
