Mumbai, Dec 4: Maharastra Konkan Association held Talent competitions for various groups and associations of churches in the city at Infant Jesus church premises, Panth Nagar, Ghatkopar on Sunday evening, November 29. Infant Jesus Church Parish priest Fr Nelson Saldanha said a prayer and wished the programme well.








































Guests of honour, musician Wilfred Fernandes, Senior author V D' Silva, Vally Quadros, Antony Tauro, Judy Pereira, Joseph D' Souza, Elias Pinto, Gregory Monis, Prithesh Castelino, John Rodrigues, David D' Souza, Peter Rebello, Jerry Bondel, Wilma Chickmagalur, John Veigas, Maharastra Konkan Association president Leo Fernandes and others present on the occasion gave away Trophies and certificates of merit to the winning teams.

The programme was promoted by Model Cooperative bank limited on the eve of its centenary celebrations. Lavina Fernandes welcomed. Music and dance competitions were held for the young and old. More than 80 competitors took part and entertained the audience.

Former association president Benedicta B Rebello, Walter D' Souza Kalmadi and others presented flower bouquets to the guests and honoured them. Gregory Monis proposed Vote of thanks.
