Mangaluru gets its first sports cafe as Sportlite inaugurated at Bejai

Mangaluru, Dec 4: 'Sportlite', the city's first sports cafe was inaugurated at New Berry Enclave, Kapikad, Bejai here on Friday December 4.

Queeny Serrao, mother-in-law of proprietor John Castelino along with other guests inaugurated the cafe.

The proprietor John Castelino explained the purpose behind his venture and said that he wanted to create a regional brand, adding that he has partnered with Richard Castelino.

The elder brother of John Castelino, Godwin Castelino wished him good luck for his new venture.


Unique features of Sportlite cafe:

The cafe designed on sports theme offers great sports viewing experience in a friendly atmosphere, with quality snacks and beverages. It is a quick service restaurant with pool and the Football table offering a unique experience to its customers.

Free WiFi and big screen display along with digital sound system makes it the hotspot for sports fans. The food that is served here is prepared instantly and served to the customer.

The menu too is designed in keeping with the theme. The special Kabaddi Khatti rolls will definitely titillate tastebuds and so also its top-rated pizzas.

The cafe was conceptualized by John Castelino, and is managed by Michael Ferrao who has experience with The Oberoi.
