Dubai: Rajaka Family, UAE celebrates second anniversary

Dubai, Dec 6: Rajaka Family, UAE celebrated its second anniversary with a splendid event on Friday December 4 at Hotel Smana Al Raffa, Dubai.

Satish S Salian, president of Shree Rajaka Sangha, Mumbai was the chief guest of the celebration. Lalit Anand Salian, representing the Yuva Rajaka, Mumbai, delivered an inspiring message with a slide show about Yuva Rajaka, Mumbai to the youth wing of UAE Rajaka Family.

The programme started at 6 pm with the lighting of the lamp, a prayer and 'Ganesha Vandana'.

Rajaka Family UAE president Shekhar Gujaran spoke about the development of the community and the bond shared by its members. Secretary Anand Salian read out the details of the programmes conducted in the past one year, along with a slide show. Madan Salian, treasurer, read out the financial details, also with a slide show.

Various cultural entertainment programmes by all age groups from toddlers to keens, boys and girls, youth and adults enthralled the gathering. There was like singing, dancing, group dances, various skits, magic shows and mimicries, raffle draw, Baila dance with delicious dinner, all of which made the prorgamme successful beyond expectations.

New committee for the year 2015-2016 was formed. The second year celebration was highly successful with jampacked audience and fun-filled activities. Madan Salian and Anand Salian compered the event.

Anand Salian, president for the year 2015-2016 proposed the vote of thanks.
