Mumbai: Akhila Karnataka Jain Sangha holds annual sports meet

Mumbai, Dec 8: The youth and women's wings of Akhila Karnataka Jain Sangha jointly held an annual day sports meet at Urban Sports Club, Thane on Sunday, Dec 6.










A large number of community members participated in the sports events and celebrated the day.

Sangha vice president Prabhakar Hegde, honorary secretary Pavananjay Ballal, joint secretary Raghuveer Hegde, Manish Hegde, treasurer Ananthraj Jain, joint treasurer Sampath Jain and other office bearers
handed over sports lanterns to women's wing president Kavitha Jain, vice president Shantala Hegde, secretary Jyothi Jain and joint secretary Supriya Hegde.

Youth wing president Bharath Raj Jain, secretary Sooraj Jain, vice president Pavithra Jain, joint secretary Soumya Jain handed over the lantern to the children of the community. Competitions in throwball, cricket, tug of war, sack race, football, children's race etc were held in the day.

The programme concluded with distribution of prizes. Raghuveer Hegde compered the programme. Bharathraj Jain proposed the vote of thanks.
