Mangaluru, Dec 15: A J Shetty, chairman, A J Group of Institutions, inaugurated the advanced Emergency Medicine Department, at A J Hospital on Monday, December 14.

A J Hospital & Research Centre has been functioning and serving the people of Karnataka coastal region for the last 14 years. The hospital has been adding newer modalities and upgrading its facilities in achieving its goal of providing world class care in Mangalore. 

A J Hospital & Research Centre has upgraded the ‘Emergency Medicine Department’. The renovated Emergency Medicine Department has 30 beds with 8 bed emergency ICU. Every bed is equipped with wall mounted cardiac monitors. ICU is provided with advanced technology ventilators. It has easy accessibility to Radiology and Pharmacy. The department has a pediatric resuscitation bay and waiting lounge. 

The upgraded Emergency Medicine Department and is all set to handle emergencies like cardiac / stroke / trauma round the clock backed by Emergency trained Physicians, Consultants / Super Specialists available round the clock.
