Bengaluru: IT raids CM close aide Congress leader P Ramesh’s residence

Daijiworld Media Network- Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, Dec 16: Income Tax sleuths raided the house of P Ramesh, a Congress leader from C V Raman assembly constituency and also a close aide of chief minister Siddaramaiah.

As per sources, the IT department raided his house because it believed that Ramesh had not paid his taxes promptly in the businesses run by him. Ramesh is involved in various businesses including finance and real estate. Ramesh is also believed to be close to Rakesh, the son of the chief minister.

The raid was done on Thursday and Friday last week. The IT officials who raided Ramesh’s house at Jogupalya near Halasur went through lot of documents and seized few documents. The incident came light late.

Sources in the IT department confirmed that search operations were conducted at Ramesh’s house and his office in C V Raman Nagar and several documents were seized. About 45 officers from different cities participated in the raid. P Ramesh was not in town during the raid and his family cooperated with the IT department, it is said.

Some sources said that the documents seized include the documents related to Rakesh. But the officials did not confirm or deny this.

P Ramesh had contested during the 2013 Assembly elections from C V Raman Nagar assembly constituency as a Congress candidate and had lost to S Raghu of the BJP.

    My dear J.Anata,
Although I applaud you for the confidence with which you have made statements against this person, I pity you very much that you have not had any access to the CORRECT information with regards to Mr P.Ramesh. This man is a businessman first, well before he got himself into politics. His businesses have come to halt and any proceedings from his existing businesses go to the needful and needy. I request you to get your fact right before defaming such a person. Also, if there was something to worry about the raid, Im sure it would have surfaced by now. There were no negative outcomes of this raid.
    Thanks

This poor BJP Govt not able to do any development works. Prices are rising and Rupee value is declining. Country's economy becoming week day by day. Modi is a dictator and he don't want any opposition parties, he want to run the country as per the RSS Agenda. But when the opposition parties questioning him, entire BJP becoming panic. BJP cannot defeat the opposition parties politically because opposition leaders are becoming strong. Rahul Gandhi, Nithish Kumar, Lalu Yadav, Arvind Kejriwal etc... giving him sleepless nights. So he started to take revenge against opposition leaders by misusing CBI, ED etc. Modi not able to run the parliament despite having full majority, what a shame...

P Ramesh is one of the most corrupt & scheming politicians with a whole lot of benami buildings, plots and FD's too. 50% or more of this property is in prime areas of Bengaluru - Koramangala & Indiranagar. A known rowdy sheeter in his younger days, Ramesh has various charge-sheets against him in various Police stations. for intimidation, extortions etc..

This is the kind of people that the CM Siddu keeps in close vicinity.

Those who fight corruption, should be clean themselves. See todays Times of India, a substantial amount of money was given by beef exporters for Modi's election fund. No wonder Modi can't stop cow slaughter for export. Paper says buffalo meat exporters, but from where Indian cow meat available in foreign countries ?
